Inbox Preview - Why you should be using it today
It's well known fact that emails do not look the same in all email clients. An email that displays correctly in Outlook may not in Google Mail. This is a headache for all email marketers who need to resort to manually testing of their emails by logging in and out of different email clients.
After your hard work of getting a great email produced and sent, the campaign is ruined if the customer doesn't see your campaign as intended. What works this week may not next month. All email clients change with each version update. For example, Google recently tinkered with GMail and the result is some emails will not display as intended. We've a simple solution that will save you from this problem as well as a lot of time manually testing.
Inbox preview is an automated way of having your email tested in over twenty of the most popular email clients, including Hotmail, Yahoo, GMail, Outlook 2003 through to the latest Outlook 2010 and Lotus Notes. As many email clients don't show images by default we've included tests to show your email with and without your images blocked and also variations caused by using Internet Explorer versus Firefox.
Try this feature for FREE in GMail and Outlook 2003. It couldn't be easier
- create your email as usual and when saving it click Save and Proof, this will load the proofing centre
- select the Inbox Preview tab and click New Free Test
- the Inbox preview page will now run the test and load the results.
For help with using this feature read the How to... Use Inbox Preview file.
